A Message From Dan.

All the Dan the Drawer Mans drawers are CANADIAN MADE by myself. They are constructed here in York Region and I do my utmost to use strictly Canadian products.

In this industry, I find that most companies import their drawers from the USA. The shipping cost from the US is then passed on to you, the consumer. I would rather support the Canadian economy than our friends to the south.

I use 3/4 inch White Aspen Poplar from Northern Ontario for the sides of my drawers, while other companies tend to use 1/2 inch plywood. This 3/4-inch wood gives me more material to attach the slider to leading to the drawer being much stronger. The bottoms of my drawers are 1/2 inch white melamine, once again a Canadian product, while other companies use 1/4 inch MDF. This 1/4 inch MDF will bow at the bottom if too much weight is put in the drawer, and my drawers DO NOT BOW.

I have constructed drawers that are over 52 inches in width. Try doing that with 1/4 inch MDF, the drawer will bow and ultimately fail.

The sliders that I use are Accuride sliders, known to be one of the best available in the industry, the only US product that I use, they have the capacity of 100 pounds and are full extension sliders.

I have installed personally over 17,000+ drawers and have had very, very few problems with Accuride sliders.

I am very proud of the drawers that I produce and very confidant that you are getting the strongest drawer available. I stand behind every drawer that I install and offer a no hassle, lifetime warranty that you most likely won't need because these drawers are very strong and installed right the first time! But the lifetime warranty is there just in case.

If there are any questions about my product, please give me a call anytime at (416) 399-4442

Thank you,

Dan McDonald
